What is the orange mark next to every ingredient?

What do you hate eating? What food are you allergic to?

How do you make sure that you never eat what you dislike or what you are not supposed to have? Can you believe artificial intelligence can help you do that?

"But, how?"

When you look for a product on GotoChef, you will see orange question marks in the ingredients section. These question marks are in front of the ingredients that GotoChef has no idea whether you like or dislike.

When you hover over this question mark, you will see four options. You can either:

1. 'Read more' about the ingredient,

2.  Add it as your 'favorite' i.e.you  like to have it,

3.  Add it to your MySmartKitchen (click here to know more about MySmartKitchen), or

4.  Add it as 'negative list' i.e. the things you don't like to have, or want to avoid due to any reason.

When you mark an ingredient as 'negative list' or a 'favorite', GotoChef saves it as your preference. Thereafter, whenever you scan or search for a food product, or check a recipe; you will see your preferences marked. In fact, you will start seeing only those products and recipes that match your preferences.

That's not all, imagine having a virtual kitchen that you can access from wherever you want! Yes, you can establish that on GotoChef. Add whatever is in your kitchen to MySmartKitchen, and when on grocery shopping, never again forget what is in your kitchen. (There is also a surprise waiting for you!)

So, explore the world of ingredients, tell GotoChef what you like or dislike, and start getting smart recommendations based on your choices.
