While making cheese when the milk is curdled and strained, the thin white liquid left is called Whey. There are two types of whey namely, sweet whey and acid whey. Sweet whey can be hacked from yoghurt,raw milk and even buttermilk. Acid whey is produced from acidic dairy products like paneer  and feta cheese.
