Ingredients For AAM DAL Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash the Tuvar dal.
  • 2. Pressure cook dal with 3 cups of water, turmeric and salt, till done .
  • 3. Peeled and cut mango into thin slices. Add turmeric and salt to mango slices.
  • 4. Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing and whole red chillies.
  • 5. Now add ginger paste and saute for few seconds.
  • 6. Fry mango slices on medium flame for 2 minutes.
  • 7. Lastly add boiled dal .Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • 8. Add sugar to balance the flavour.
  • 9. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes till mango slices become soft.
  • 10. Switch off the flame. Serve AAM DAL with rice.
