Ingredients For Aloo Onion Pakoda Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing bowl add boiled mashed potatoes, chopped onion, coriander leaves, salt, 1tspn turmeric powder, finely chopped green chilli, ginger paste. Mix it well.
  • 2. Heat 1tbspn oil & add mustard seeds, matar dal, urad dal & curry leaves. Let it fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add it to the potato mixture.
  • 3. Make a batter of gram flour, salt, turmeric powder & red chilli powder. Add water & make a thick batter of it.
  • 4. Add baking soda & mix it well.
  • 5. Now make small balls from potato mixture, dip it in batter & deep fry it.
  • 6. Fry some green chilli also & serve the pakodas with green chutney & fried green chilli.
