Boil potatoes nicely so that they mash properly, test one tikki for frying first if it breaks add more bread crumb.

Ingredients For Aloo Tikki Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil potatoes, once done peel and mash.
  • 2. In a mixing bowl take mashed potatoes, add bread crumbs, now add poppy seeds and rest of ingredients except oil.
  • 3. Mix properly and take some small portion and give it shape of tikki's then repeat for rest of mixture.
  • 4. In a kadai, heat some oil, once done, deep fry tikki till they get golden brown color.
  • 5. Fry 2 tikkis at a time so that its evenly cooked on medium flame.
  • 6. Remove on a plate and serve with ur favourite chutney or ketchup.
