Ingredients For Beetroot Danadar Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil milk first.When it will start to leave bubble, add vinegar to make paneer. Ready made paneer also can be use but it should be fresh.
  • 2. Strain excess water from paneer and wash the paneer under cold water to avoid the sour taste of vinegar.
  • 3. Take a muslin cloth and tie up the paneer in it and leave it for an hour.
  • 4. Then mash the paneer very well.Add semolina beetroot paste and make a smooth paste of it.
  • 5. Make it dry in room temperature.
  • 6. Then make small balls from mixture.
  • 7. Boil sugar syrup with 1:2 sugar and water.
  • 8. When it will start boiling, add paneer balls and boil it in medium flame for 10 minutes
  • 9. After 10 minutes it will double in size.
  • 10. Boil it for another 10 minutes in low flame till the syrup becomes dry. In this sweet no need to keep syrup.
  • 11. Take a plate now. Spread the danadar sweets on it maintaining a little distance. Otherwise it will get hard with one another.
  • 12. After 15 minutes take crushed sugar in a plate and roll the danadar on it.
  • 13. Danadar sweet is ready to serve.Mind it this sweet is soft from inner side and crunchy from outer coat.
