This is a dish served with hot rice, packed with protein and vitamins. Goodnesss of watery vegetable is too good.
Made with parupu ( dhal) and coconut .
1.
First cook the two daal with water and turmeric powder after 5 whistles let it cool so keep it aside. Mash the daal well.

Now chop the lauki deseeded and keep aside.

In a mixer jar add coconut jeera and chillis and grind well.
4.
Take a Kadai add oil mustard seeds hing and urad dhal and curry leaves and let it splutter. Then add chopped lauki with salt and cook well. Once cooked add the cooked dhal and little water and simmer covered for two minutes.
5.
Lastly add coconut paste with little water and simmer for two minutes. Ready to serve with roti can be had with rice but red rice.
