Chola Dabala Recipe

This is a traditional Sindhi snack which is eaten during the evenings. In this dish, we serve channa with bread by adding the toppings with chopped onions, tomatoes, carrots and chutneys.

Methods
  • 1. Soak channa overnight. Next day pressure cook it for 4 whistles.
  • 2. Then in the cooker add oil,fry onions till light pink, then add tomatoes fry them nicely till oil comes out.
  • 3. Then add the spices red chilli powder ,garam masala powder,dhanya powder, channa masala powder, kasturi methi ,then add channa an mix well.
  • 4. Then add water and salt and chopped coriander leaves and pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
  • 5. Then put the bread on the plate , spread the channa gravy all over it , garnish with chopped onions, tomatoes, carrots, coriander leaves, green chutney and tamarind chutney and sev.
