Ingredients For FRIED PARWAL / POINTED GOURD RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Wash and cut the edges of the parwal / pointed gourd on both sides and cut into two pieces.
  • 2. Heat oil in a pan.
  • 3. Add cumin seeds to crackle.
  • 4. Add parwal / pointed gourd and saute for 3 - 4 minutes
  • 5. Add onion and saute for 4 - 5 minutes in low flame.
  • 6. Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powde, green chilly and one tbsp of water and mix well.
  • 7. Add salt and stir fry for 3 - 4 minutes in low flame.
  • 8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • 9. Serve with rice or chapatis.
