Haryali Moti Biryani with Haryali Raita Recipe

In this biryani I have used fresh spices, blended with coriander leaves,mint leaves. And for making Moti I have given a twist , usually we can make this balls by using paneer,but I have used lotus stem. The Raita I have used fresh coriander leaves,mint leaves to give it a green look.

Ingredients For Haryali Moti Biryani with Haryali Raita Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixer grinder grind,onions, green chilies, coriander leaves ,mint leaves, coconut, biryani masala, garam masala, fennel seeds into fine paste.
  • 2. In a cooker add oil,fry the green paste,then add chopped carrots,beans,peas, fry nicely then add rice,salt an water an pressure cook it for 1 whistle.
  • 3. In another bowl add curds,beat it,add the green paste ( coriander leaves,mint leaves,green chilies),salt an mix well.
  • 4. Then in the curds ,add chopped carrots, cucumber, tomatoes, coriander leaves an salt an mix well.
  • 5. Then in another bowl add lotus stem , pressure cook it for 5 whistles and then when cool grind it. Then put it in the bowl ,add cornflour,salt an mix well an make small small balls an deep fry it.
  • 6. Then add silver warak (foil) on top of it . Put the balls on top of the biryani.
