Ingredients For KARELA MASALA/BITTER GOURD MASALA RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Wash and chop the bitter gourd/karela,add in the pressure cooker with half cup of water and turmeric powder.
  • 2. After one whistle switch off the flame
  • 3. Heat oil in a pressure cooker,add onion,ginger garlic and saute till golden brown.
  • 4. Add all the spices, tomato and jaggery and mix well.
  • 5. Add half boiled karela and green chill,cover it and cook in a slow flame for ten minutes.
  • 6. Add salt and mix well.
  • 7. Serve hot with chapatis.
