Ingredients For Khaja recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take Maida, salt and ghee in a bowl and mix well.
  • 2. Add little amount of water as required to prepare a soft dough.
  • 3. Once soft dough is ready apply 1 tspn oil /ghee over it and rest it for 15 minutes.
  • 4. Now prepare sugar syrup.Take a heavy-bottomed pan.
  • 5. Add sugar and water (as mentioned in the recipe).
  • 6. Dissolve sugar completely. Add lemon juice and cardmom powder.
  • 7. Now cook till 1 string consistency.
  • 8. Now take that dough and make a huge round roti of that dough.
  • 9. Now dust some maida over roti and roll the roti smoothly.
  • 10. Meanwhile keep on dusting maida over that.
  • 11. Now cut this roll into small pieces.
  • 12. Heat the oil in a pan properly.
  • 13. Keep the flame low and fry the cut roll batch wise (Khaja).
  • 14. After deep frying once it becomes little brown remove these khajas and put into sugar syrup.
  • 15. Here is your delicious Khaja ready.
