Ingredients For Kolkata Style Samosa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing bowl take flour, 1/4cup of oil & salt. Mix it well.
  • 2. Add carom seeds & chilled water. Make a hard dough of it. Cover it with a wet cloth & keep rest for 15minutes.
  • 3. For stuffing heat 2tbspn oil. Add panchforon seeds, peanuts, green chilli paste, ginger paste ,salt& all spices.
  • 4. Add grated cauliflower & peas. Cook it for few minutes.
  • 5. Finally add boiled smashed potatoes, lemon juice & chopped coriander leaves. Mix it well & switch off the flame.
  • 6. Stuffing is ready
  • 7. For samosa wrap take small portion from dough & roll it a slightly thick oval shaped roti.
  • 8. Cut it from middle.
  • 9. Take one half ,apply water on the edges. Fold it & make a cone.
  • 10. Put 2tbspn stuffing in it & again apply water on the top & seal it well.
  • 11. Heat enough oil in a pan & deep fry the samosa in low to medium flame till it turns crispy.
  • 12. Enjoy this special samosa with red & green chutney.
