It's a very delicious kofta curry using two leafy vegetables.I have served it with baby garlic naan.But any Indian bread can be serve with it.

Ingredients For Lal Saag Kofta with Chatpata Palak Gravy Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Heat 1tbsp oil in a pan & fry chopped onion, chopped laal saag, 2tbspn palak & pudina for few minutes.
  • 2. Then in a mixing bowl, take boiled mashed potatoes,laal saag mixture, red chilli powder,salt & carom seeds.Make a dough of it.
  • 3. Make small balls from it & deep fry it.
  • 4. Now heat 1tbspn oil in a kadhai.Add panchforon seeds, green chilli, garlic & chopped onion.Fry it for few minutes.
  • 5. Then add chopped spinach.Cook it for 3 to 4 minutes & then switch off the flame.
  • 6. Make the mixture cool for few minutes & then take it in a mixing jar.
  • 7. Add curd & grated coconut & make a paste of it.
  • 8. Now heat 1tbsp oil in a pan & add the spinach mixture in it.Add salt, sugar & all spices.
  • 9. Cook it for few minutes & then add 1glass of hot water.Cover it & let it cook.
  • 10. When oil will start to separate from gravy, add koftas in it.
  • 11. Boil the koftas in gravy for 5 minutes in high flame.Then switch off the flame.
  • 12. Serve it hot with naan, parantha or any Indian bread.
