Methods
  • 1. Wash the spinach and blanch in the pan for five mins
  • 2. Cool down for some time then grind the squeeze palak/spinach and make a fine paste.
  • 3. In a kneading bowl mix all purpose flour,spinach paste,carom seeds,onion seeds salt and clarified butter.
  • 4. Make a soft dough.
  • 5. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  • 6. Divide the dough into a ball.
  • 7. Flatten the ball into thin round puri.
  • 8. Cut into square shape
  • 9. Make slits with the help of knife in the middle portion .
  • 10. Fold it and now again fold it and seal the edges
  • 11. Slice a slot in the middle of of stripes.
  • 12. Heat oil in a pan.
  • 13. Deep fry in batches.
  • 14. Cook on medium flame.
