Recipe Notes

Soak channa for 8 hour and pressure cook for 6 whistles. For taco shells if you don’t have oven then you can deep fry take a roti roller and shape it with the help of that.

Methods
  • 1. First to make roti into shape of taco . Take one roti and slide on to a wire rack between two roads and toast it for 5 minutes at 180 degrees.
  • 2. Now for stuffing : Add oil in a pan heat it add jeera, saunf, hing, turmeric powder and let it splutter then add onions, ginger garlic paste and cook well.
  • 3. Now add sprouts with salt sprinkle water close with lid and cook for 3 minutes .
  • 4. Now when sprouts are cooked add soaked and pressure cooked channa with salt dhaniya powder, chilli powder, amchur and sprinkle water close and cook for 3 minutes . You can add a dash of lime to this.
  • 5. For salad : Add one chopped onions carrot cucumber green chilli salt and pepper and mix well then to this add dash of lime and mayonnaise and mix well.
  • 6. Layering : Take one taco shell add sprouts and channa stuffing over that add salad little sauce and serve.
