Ingredients For Makhana kheer

Methods
  • 1. Heat ghee in a pan, roast foxnut and cashews till the foxnut gets crunchy and cashews will get golden brown.
  • 2. Boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan, let it reduce, stir at intervals. Grind 2/3rd foxnut into fine powder.
  • 3. When the milk reduces, add sugar and the ground foxnut, let it simmer for some time and then add other foxnut, cardamom powder, cashew and raisins.
  • 4. Simmer for few more minutes till the foxnut softens and milk reduces.
  • 5. Serve makhana kheer hit or chilled, after chilling, it gets thickened also.
