Ingredients For MASALA DOSA RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Wash and soak parboiled rice,lentil /dal and fenugreek /methi seeds for 4 hours.
  • 2. Blend all the ingredients together.
  • 3. Add more water if necessary.
  • 4. The batter should be relatively thin.
  • 5. Add salt to it and cover it for 12 hours fermentation.
  • 6. For stuffing Heat oil in a wok.
  • 7. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to crackle.
  • 8. Add onion n saute for one to two minutes.
  • 9. Add soaked chana dal /gram lentil,curry leaves.
  • 10. Add turmeric powder ,red chilly powder,ginger garlic paste and 2 tbsp water and mix well.
  • 11. Add potatoes and salt and cook for 2 minutes.
  • 12. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • 13. Now stuffing is ready.
  • 14. Heat nonstick tawa to very hot sprinkle some oil till it sizzles and quickly pour a large spoon of dosa batter on it.
  • 15. Lower the heat put some oil over dosa.
  • 16. Add potato masala of the dosa.
  • 17. Wrap it.
  • 18. Serve them hot with chutney.
