Ingredients For MATAR AND METHI PARATHA RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Heat oil in a pan. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds to crackle.
  • 2. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for one minutes.
  • 3. Add matar,ginger garlic paste,green chilly,red chilly powder,turmeric powder ,salt and saute for 4 - 5 minutes.
  • 4. Once cooled,grind to make a paste.
  • 5. Wash and finely chop the methi leaves.
  • 6. Take a bowl add wheat flour,matar paste,methi leaves and salt and make a soft dough using little water at a time.
  • 7. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • 8. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
  • 9. Sprinkle little water and roll them with rolling pin.
  • 10. Place the paratha over the hot pan as soon as looks like brown.
  • 11. Flip over and cook on the other side till brown.
  • 12. Applying oil on both the sides.
  • 13. Take off the pan and serve hot.
