Ingredients For Matcha tea pati shapta Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl add all purpose flour, semolina, caster sugar, matcha tea powder and milk. Whisk the mixture properly, there shouldn't be any lumps in the batter.
  • 2. In a non stick fry pan add little bit oil and pour a thin layer of the batter and spread it quickly with a laddle.
  • 3. As soon as it starts to get colour, take out from the pan and keep aside.
  • 4. At least 3-4 thin patishapta can be made from the batter.
  • 5. Meanwhile add mascarpone, grated khoya, 1 tablespoon grated coconut and mixed nuts in a bowl to make the fillings for patishapta.
  • 6. Now put the fillings mixture lengthwise at the center of patishapta and make a nice roll.
  • 7. On an another frying pan add grated jaggery and butter with a pinch of salt and cook on slow heat. As soon as the jaggery and butter melts add fresh cream into it.
  • 8. Take care while making the salted jaggery toffee sauce cause as soon as the cream will be added it can increase it's volume.
  • 9. The sauce is also ready. Now cut the filled patishapta as per the photo.
  • 10. Put the sauce at the center of a plate and spread evenly with a silicon spatula.
  • 11. Nicely arrange the cuts of patishapta on the top of the sauce, garnish with some grated coconut, freshly cut strawberry and edible flowers.
