Pakora Kadi Recipe

Pakore wali kadi with garma garam khicdi is my all time comfort food. Here there is a twist.For my Kadi I have used spring onions to give a different flavor to my basic recipe. Do give a try and let me know how it turned out.

Ingredients For Pakora Kadi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For the pakodas mix the besan,salt,sliced onions,green chillies,coriander,red chillies powder,dhania pwdr and add enough water and make the batter semi thick.
  • 2. Fry the pakodas in medium hot oil and set aside.
  • 3. For kadi.
  • 4. Mix the besan,dahi ,salt dry spices,along with gg paste and dry spices and set aside.
  • 5. Heat 2 tbsp oil and add the cumin and Mustard seeds.
  • 6. Add few curry leaves and now add the white part of the spring onion.
  • 7. Saute the onions till translucent.
  • 8. Add the chopped garlic and saute.
  • 9. Add the dry chillies.
  • 10. Saute till nice golden brown.
  • 11. Now add the green part of the green onions.
  • 12. Add 1 to 2 green chillies and add the red chillies pwdr,dhania pwdr and saute the masalas.
  • 13. Add the dahi besan batter.
  • 14. Add quartered tomatoes while simmering the kadi.
  • 15. Let the kadi boil till it thickens and oil floats on top.
  • 16. Serve the kadi along with some plain khicdi and the pakoras.
  • 17. You can dunk the pakoras in kadi for softer pakoras.
