Ingredients For Popcorn Medu Vada Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing jar take pineapple slices, salt a pinch, sugar & coconut milk. Blend it well. Pineapple sauce is ready.
  • 2. Soak the urad dal in water for an hour.
  • 3. Strain the water & transfer the urad dal to a mixing jar. Add little water & grind it to a smooth, thick batter.
  • 4. Keep rest for an hour. After an hour add salt, chopped curry leaves, green chilli & roughly chopped popcorns.
  • 5. Take small portion from batter, make balls & flatten it.Make small hole in the middle of the vadas.
  • 6. Heat enough oil in a pan & gently drop the vadas in oil.
  • 7. Deep fry the vadas in medium heat till it turns golden brown.
  • 8. Now serve medu vadas with pineapple sauce topping with popcorn kernels.
