Ingredients For Prawn Biryani Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Add whole garam masala- black cardamom, green cardamom & cinnamon sticks in a bowl
  • 2. Now mix bay leaves, clove, shah zeera & black peppercorns in it.
  • 3. Heat the oil in a pan and fry all the ingredients for sometime.
  • 4. Add chopped onions and fry onions till golden brown. Add tomatoes now.
  • 5. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, fennel powder, sugar, salt red chilli powder & turmeric powder.
  • 6. Fry them well the Add vinegar.
  • 7. Once the masala is ready, add the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • 8. Boil the rice in water with lemon and salt.
  • 9. Drain the water and keep them aside.
  • 10. Layer the prawns and rice, first layer of rice then prawns, then next layer of rice and then prawn.
  • 11. Add the fried onions and spread them above the prawns.
  • 12. Reduce the flame to medium level and cook it for 20 minutes.
  • 13. Ready to be put on dum. Serve hot.
