Ingredients For Ring Samosa Chaat Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak dried peas overnight in 4 cups water. In the morning drain the water, and then rinse the peas.
  • 2. Transfer the peas to a pressure cooker and then add the whole spices- green cardamom, black peppercorn, bay leaves and cinnamon stick. Pressure cook on high heat for 2 whistles. After that lower the flame to medium and let the peas cook for another 10 to 12 minutes. Remove the cooker from heat and allow the pressure to release naturally.
  • 3. You should be able to press the peas easily with your fingers once cooked. Set aside. If using Instant Pot cook for 30 minutes on high pressure with natural pressure release.
  • 4. Start making the masala. First Take a pan add oil in it on medium heat add cumin seeds add gravy of (take a blender and add onion ,tomatoes,green chilli,ginger blend it make a paste) mix well for 5 minutes. Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder in it saute well.than add boiled peas in it and salt ,garam masala cover the lid and simmer it for 10 minutes on low flame.
  • 5. Peas curry is ready for chaat. Than take a serving dish put one spiral samosa in it .put peas curry on it chopped onion,chopped tomatoes,imli chutney,green chutney and curd on it.spread some salt red chilli powder and chaat masala on it and garnish it with coriander leaves and pomegranate.and serve hot.
