Ingredients For Sooji dhokla

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl mix sooji, curd, salt and water to make a batter.
  • 2. Keep water in a steamer to boil.
  • 3. Mix baking soda into batter and mix it well. Pour the batter into greased tray and keep it for steaming.
  • 4. It will get ready in 10 mins. After it get cool a bit, cut into pieces.
  • 5. Prepare a tadka with mustard seeds and pour over dhokla.
  • 6. Garnish it with coriander leaves and sprinkle some dry achaar masala on it.

I used to make it with the dhokla mix. And of course, never turned out to be like the market ones. I liked the taste of how it came out with this recipe.

Glad to know this. Sorry for delay in replying. You can add ginger chilli paate more to enhance the taste if you like spicy version
