Ingredients For STUFFED KARELA MAKHNI RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Wash and scrap the skin of the bitter gourd.
  • 2. Cut into three pieces and remove the seeds and pulp of bitter gourd.
  • 3. Boil bitter gourd in a pressure cooker with little amount of water.
  • 4. After one whistle switch off the flame and release the pressure.
  • 5. Take a bowl add boiled and mashed potato,salt,black pepper,coriander leaves and mint leaves and mix well.
  • 6. Stuff the filling in the bitter gourd pieces.
  • 7. Heat oil in a pan and fry this stuffed bitter gourd till light brown,strain it.
  • 8. Heat 2 tbsp oil in the same pan.
  • 9. Add ginger garlic and saute for one minutes
  • 10. Now add chopped onion and saute till light brown.
  • 11. Add green chilly and tomato puree and cover it and cook in a low flame for five minutes.
  • 12. Now add coriander powder,cumin seeds powder,garam masala powder,salt and sugar and mix well.
  • 13. Add one cup of water and bring to boil.
  • 14. Add cream and mix well.
  • 15. Take a serving bowl add biter gourd pieces and pour the makhni gravy.
  • 16. Serve hot with paratha
