Description

Almond Extract is intensely flavored, concentrated liquid pressed from almonds (produces a slightly yellow-colored oil) which is then combined with ethyl alcohol. There are two types of almond extract, bitter almond extract(obtained from bitter almond trees that have pink flowers). and sweet almond extract(obtained from sweet almond trees grow white flowers). Sweet almonds are slimmer and longer than bitter almonds. Almond extract is used to induce the taste of almonds in a variety of delicacies such as baked goods, stews, curries, and desserts. It contains proteins, vitamins, and minerals. It has fiber content and good fats but is low in carbohydrates. It is considered good for health, skin, and hair.

Selection Guide

Look for an almond extract made by cold pressing almonds as it helps to preserve most of the nutrients. Also, buy from a renowned brand to avoid any adulteration.
