Description

Antioxidant (TBHQ E319) is an additive to preserve processed foods. It is used to extend shelf life and can prevent rancidity. It is a light-colored crystalline product with a slight odor. Because it’s an antioxidant, it does not cause discolouration even in the presence of iron, and hence it does not change the taste and flavour of the food. It is used in vegetable oils and animals fats.
