Description

Antioxidant (INS 321) is a lipophilic(dissolve in fats, oils and lipids) organic compound, chemically a derivative of phenol, in the form of white solid or powder. It is an European Union approved food additive, used as a synthetic antioxidant in food and drink products, especially in fatty food products to reduce rancidity.

Note

Excessive intake of antioxidant (INS 321) cause liver damage and migraines. It may also cause cell division in the body.(2)
