Description

Apricot Jam is a thick preserve prepared with apricots(discard the pits), sugar and lemon juice. The fruit mixture is boiled, cooked and set aside until it reaches the jelly point. It is yellow-orange in color, preserving naturally vivid flavor and color of the apricots. It is spread on toasted Italian bread or paired with desserts.

Selection Guide

To make apricot jam at home, look for plump, firm fruit, orange-yellow in color. When buying in packaged form, make sure the bottle is well sealed and check for its manufacturing and expiry date to confirm its freshness.
