Description

One of the species of catfish is Basa fish which belongs to the family Pangasiidae, native to the Mekong and Chao Phraya basins in Indochina. It has large, white fillets with no bones, and light, firm, moist flesh. It has a stout, heavy body and grows to a maximum length of 120 cm. It is a popular food fish across the world.
