Usage Tips

  1. Beetroot powder can be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry and dark place.
  2. Pigments in the powder may oxidize to yellow-brown color with time.
  3. Pure beetroot powder can be used to flavour soups, salad dressings, soups and yogurt dips. It can also be used to add red pigment to food and beverages.

Description

Beetroot is a taproot portion of a beet plant, considered as a vegetable. They can be sliced and dried in the oven at 40-50 degrees Celsius for 4-5 hours. Beetroot powder is made from the dehydrated beetroots, ground to a pinkish-red fine powder. Beetroot powder is made in four different forms such as fermented powdered beetroots, whole powdered beetroots, powdered beetroot juice, and concentrated beetroot powder. All forms of beetroot powder contain different content of sugar and nitrates.
