Black Bengal Gram Flakes are the crispy flakes of black bengal gram. They have an uneven surface with an average thickness of approximately 24 mm. They are produced by soaking black bengal gram, heating, compressing, drying and cooling it to form flakes. This process may require mechanical press, roller, oven or dehydrator.
Look for black bengal gram flakes in a well-sealed packaging. Loose flakes may lose their crisp. Check for the "use-by" date on their packaging.
