Black Cardamom Powder is a dark-brown or black powder derived from its dried seed pods.It is used as an ingredient in combination to cinnamon, black pepper and gloves in any garam masala. It gives depth to masalas and tandoori-style spice mixtures. It has a strong, camphor-like flavor, with a smoky character, used as a "heating" spice in a variety of dishes.
