Description

Cashew butter is a food spread made by crushing baked or roasted cashews. It is smooth, creamy, and slightly lower in fat than other nut butters. It is thick in consistency and ranges from off white to pale brown in colour. You can easily make cashew butter at home, all you need is just roasted salted cashews and some coconut oil followed by fine blending in a food processor to get a creamy, smooth, rich and salted cashew butter. Make sure to scrape the sides of the blender every few minutes to avoid sticking of butter to the surface. As the blender makes the process more challenging and also affects the texture of the butter it is advisable to use a food processor.
