Taste Profile

It tastes like chicken but is slightly more complex when it comes to flavors.

Description

Chicken broth is a dish made from meat and bones. It is simmered on the stove for a relatively short amount of time. Usually, vegetables like carrot, onion, and celery are added to the broth to enhance its flavor. To make the broth even more flavorful, once the cooking is over just remove the meat, bones and vegetables and continue to simmer the broth until it is reduced by one third. This will give it a very rich and luscious flavor. It may be easy to buy in the store, but there’s nothing that makes a dish more special than a homemade chicken broth. To make chicken broth at home, start by placing chicken and roughly chopped vegetables of choice and garlic cloves in a pot. Pour in enough water to just cover the chicken completely and heat it to bring a boil over medium-high heat. Skim any fat and scum from the surface every now and then. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pot but continue to simmer the broth. Cut the chicken meat from the bone, put the bones to the pot and cook for 1 hour. Strain into a large bowl.
