Corn flakes are the most popular breakfast cereal, which are made by toasting flakes of corn (maize). They are yellowish-orange in colour. They have a crunchy texture, and they soften when soaked in milk. They are often eaten in the morning with milk and sugar ,sometimes topped with fruits and nuts.
The carbohydrates found in corn flakes can lead to an increase in blood sugar levels. So, people with diabetes should avoid eating corn flakes.(2)
