  2. It can be used to provide smooth texture to candies and ice creams.


Corn Syrup is a viscous sweet syrup prepared from corn starch. The corn starch is broken down either by heating it with a dilute acid or by combining it with enzymes. It is commercially available in two varieties, light and dark corn syrups.
