Double cream is a thick, dairy cream with minimum fat content of 48%. It is prepared by centrifugal force to separate the butterfat from the milk. It can be thinned with milk to make an approximation of single cream.

Selection Guide

Go for fresh double cream and check for its "use-by" date on the packaging.
