Usage Tips

  1. Emulsifier E-281 can be used as a preservative in processed cheese, chocolates, flour and bread.
  2. It can be added to bakery products to prevent growth of bacteria that causes sticky yellow patches.

Description

Emulsifier E-281 is an organic sodium salt of propionic acid which is a food additive approved by the European Union (EU). It is a natural acid which is considered as an antimicrobial preservative in food products. It is in the form of white crystalline solid which is deliquescent in moist air.
