Description

Fennel seeds are the dried seeds of the Fennel plant. They look like a grooved or ridged grain of rice. They come in colors ranging from bright green to pale green and tan. They are common in Indian and North African cuisine. Fennel seeds is used as a spice and is native to Europe and Asia Minor. They are available throughout the year. They are not only used in the whole form but also used in powdered form in cooking.
