Description

Fried Bengal gram (Futana dal) is a crunchy snack prepared using split bengal gram. It is prepared by rinsing split bengal gram, soaking it, then rinsing again, and finally air drying it. It is then deep-fried until crisp and golden and seasoned with dry spices. It is a traditional Indian dry snack invented ages ago.
