Garlic bread is a bread topped with a mixture of minced garlic and olive oil or butter and sprinkled with any shredded cheese( mozzarella, parmesan, feta or cheddar). It may also include spices and herbs, such as oregano, chives, dried parsley, and garlic powder. It is then either grilled or broiled open-faced until toasted or baked in microwave or oven. It is perfectly soft and cheesy on the inside with crispy edges. It can be served as an evening snack or a classic accompaniment to almost any kind of soup or stew.

Selection Guide

Look for freshly baked bread from a bakery. Check for its "use-by" date to confirm its freshness.
