Granulated sugar is the small white crystals of sugar, made either of beet sugar or cane sugar. It undergoes a refining process where all of the naturally present molasses are refined out of it. It is widely used in North America and Europe.
Make sure the granulated sugar is crystal clear and clean and does not contains any dust or debris. Also it should be completely dry with no hint of moisture.
