Thyme is a woody, perennial herb in the mint family, Labiatae and is native to the Mediterranean region. It has bright green leaves that turn greyish-green in color when dried. Ground dried thyme is the powdered form of dried thyme leaves. It is a fine green powder with a mildly spicy scent. It can be used in cooking just like the fresh or dried leaf.

Selection Guide

Go for fine ground dried thyme in air-tight packaging to retain its flavour and aroma. Check for its "use-by" date to confirm its freshness.
