Description

Honey chili chicken is a palate pleasing and delicious non-vegetarian recipe. It is generally served as a side dish. To make this delicious recipe at home, rinse the chicken well and cut it into small serving-sized pieces. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, chicken pieces and toss. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat and add chicken pieces one by one. Cook until golden in color. Once done, remove all the oil from the pan leaving behind just 1 tbsp oil in the skillet. Combine water, lemon juice, corn starch, chilli sauce and soy sauce in a small bowl and mix it well. Now, add ginger to skillet and fry for 1 minute followed by adding honey. Cook and stir for 1 minute then add in corn starch-chilli mixture and cook till the sauce boils. Stir in the chicken pieces. Now, add onions and stir well. Cook and stir for about 1 minute more and serve.
