Description

Malt extract is a sweet, treacly substance, frequently used in the brewing of beer. Malt Extract Powder is a dried form of liquid malt extract. It is a clarified water-soluble extract of malted barley, in the form of non-diastatic powder(no active enzymes). It is a pale yellow to yellow in color, slightly acidic, highly hygroscopic powder, completely soluble in cold water and readily soluble in hot water. It can be used to improve the flavor and texture of baked goods and beverages.
