Microbial rennet is a substance derived from animals and is used to curdle milk and turn it into cheese. Usually, rennet is vegetarian food, but originally it was derived from animals and considered as non-vegetarian. Microbial rennet works as a wonderful coagulating agent. The advantage of using microbial rennet to produce cheese is that it is affordable and cheaper in comparison to the rennet that is produced by animals.
