Mineral Calcium Carbonate is a mineral found naturally in limestone, marble or marine shells. It exists as a white powder or as colorless crystals. It is used as a food additive for various functions like, as a nutritional supplement, as a nutrient for yeasts, an anti-caking agent, a firming agent, a stabilizer and thickener, as dough enhancer and to add white colour to foods.
