Description
Nelanelli leaves is a widespread tropical plant commonly found in coastal areas, known by the common names gale of the wind, stonebreaker or seed-under-leaf. It is high in phytochemicals; glycosides, alkaloids, flavonoids, phenyl-e-proponoids, ellagitanis, gernanin, amarin, corilagin, found in the stem, roots and leaves. The leaves also contain niranthin and phyltetralin, while the root is also known to contain kaemferol and criodictiol.
